It was around 9:00 in the morning at my cousin's house and I was taking a stroll in the garden while sipping on some hot black coffee with chicory. An old mailbox was sticking from the ground amidst the various vegetable plants. It was at an angle with an additional tilt towards the top, which made it look like a person with their head tilted in curiosity aching for a conversation. I stood there hoping it would speak and tell me about all the things it had witnessed... sigh! it was a conversation I wished had happened.
