Oct 2001 | View from summit of Tadiandamol in Karnataka, India. We camped overnight near the summit and were rewarded with spectacular views.

This click was made on a Vivitar V4000 manual film camera that came with a mechanical shutter, and a 50mm lens. It was my first SLR camera and the only battery it held was a button type battery for the exposure meter. Loading/Unloading, rewinding at the end and moving the film forward after every click was done manually. I think this camera is still in my room at my parent's house in India. I do miss shooting with it.
