Solitary

May 23, 2020 | Alexandria, Virginia (USA).

People on the frontlines whose jobs require human closeness and interaction, those who have lost loved ones to Covid-19, and ones out of a job or worse homeless are struggling at a scale that I can't even begin to imagine. In comparison the personal challenges I'm experiencing because of the pandemic seem insignificant, but by not acknowledging the pain, sadness and self-isolation I'm feeling I have allowed them to succeed in slowly gnawing away at the fabric of my core. This picture represents the looming towers of loneliness closing in.
